Curiosity
Ask questions and investigate how things work.
Our vision
Our vision for 2035 is to help children leave school with sound subject knowledge and the judgement to use it. New technology makes that responsibility more important.
What we believe
We want a child to be able to explain an answer in their own words.
Reading, writing, mathematics and subject knowledge need patient practice. Our educational approach also asks children to question an explanation, compare evidence and recognise when they need help.
AI can produce an answer in seconds. A student still needs to check whether it is accurate and decide how to use it. We want children to develop that judgement while taking responsibility for their own work.
Our educational aims

Check AI-generated answers and understand their limits.
Understand spending, saving and the choices a budget involves.
Try an idea, make it, then improve it.
Break a problem into smaller steps and test a solution.
Take responsibility for a shared task.
Speak up, ask for help and try again.
